What does it mean to be an "informed citizen?" If more people were "informed", what would it mean for our local community and for our country?

Being an informed citizen means that people are being aware of the things that happens around our community and the world. They are hearing both side of the story instead of one. If more people were informed in our local community and our country they would be aware of things that are happening around the world and can make a big difference. They can pass on information faster to other people. Also if more people our informed about something  bad that is going on we can prevent later on in the future. By being aware, it would make people around the world have a happy life. It make us think about things that happens around our world. By being informed we can plan and maybe have an outlook of the future.....

Should fast food companies be held responsible for the obesity problem in the US?  Defend your point of view.

I think that fast food companies should be held responsible for part of the obesity problem in the U.S. I would blamed corn farmer that have an over production of corn and are making product for business to buy and sell to consumer. Instead of doing that they should grow those crop and distributed evenly throughout the world, that is one of the factor of hunger. Fast food should be held responsible for some part of it because they should know if their food that consumers are buying health or not and how will it affect the consumers health after they buy the product. Fast food restaurant should put the nutrition fact on the label of what consumers are buying so that they won't buy so much and realized how much calories they are intake form fast food than from the food they eat at home. If fast food company make healthy product for the consumer to buy than later on they won't have law suite against people being overweight from fast food product. If business like fast food didn't buy unhealthy product from other corporation and process food to sell to the consumers I think that our society right now wouldn't have an obesity epidemic.

Why do you think these messages (from Supersize Me, Omnivore's Dilemma) are being sent?  Why the current interest in food politics?  Explain your answer.

These message from supersize me and Omnivore's Dilemma are being sent out there because they want to make people realize how eating fast food can lead to obesity and the main place it came from was eating at fast food restaurant a lot and corn farmer who produce so much but end up feeding so little people by making the choice to process the food in many ways. The decisions that farmer decided to make after  growing their product depend on a lot of people around the world. Some part of the is starving and other parts are eating too much. If we distribute are crops evenly throughout the world and make less process food the obesity epidemic would be lower.

Also when Quendy had ask her if she like the feature of the mountain and she said that it was okay.
#2.)The things that is are consider appropiate was holding hand at the store on page 108. The inappropriate behavoir were Violet showing off her lesion on page 96 and smiled putting her finger inside the collar of his shirt.
#3.)The character that i see following versus not following the rules are Violet she seem to be showing of alot and doing things inappropriate.
#4.) On page 102 ( He earmarking all different stuff.) Also on page 106( Nina their personal Foodtech shopping assistant.)

The things that I think have negative effects of advanced technology in "Feed" are that they talk about the weather how back then the temperature wouldn't be over 100 degree but now it's probably over 100 degree. Another thing also is that they talk about how their use to be a lot of bird and trees and now they hardly see it anymore. They also talk about how they live and the type of transportation they used. For example they have up cars and lived on small piece of land. Now they have to go to places in a tube and maybe the air is bad and they can't be outside doing the things they want to do. Page 94

HYPOTHESIS: I think that the advanced technology in FEED caused the negative effects because they relied on that technology to much. It change things by destroying them and not being their anymore. It effects the Earth and living things on the planet. This has change many things in feed like the weather, transportation, and the way people do things because of less resource that is available for them to use.

propaganda #7

I think feed is a computer chip that in their head. It helps the character in the book get what information in they want fast. I think that it is a computer chip in their head  because of the way they describe feed. For example they talk about how the police had to turn off their computer, and they couldn't get in contact with feed for awhile. Feed influenced the lives of the the character because it's a technology that they are so in love with. It where they get all or most of their information from. They get things answer and hear commercial from feed. The things that they do are mostly from the advice that feed gives. Feed differentiate the characters life from our own because it has a lot of information that useful and it also have many function in it. It can give you the things you want. One thing that different is that we don' t get to experience the same technology as the character because we might had an advanced version of "Feed".
